Kudirat Lawal Adesina

Mrs. Adesina is a mother and lover of children. She's a Radiographer with many years of practice experience both in Nigeria and the UK. She is a Community Leader and has initiated a number of project that promotes personal development both in children and adults. She identifies with programmes that support  educational, social and emotional competence in children & youth.

Dr. Yunus Olufadi

Yunus Olufadi is a bio-statistician. He obtained his Master's Degree in Statistics from the University of Ilorin. He has a PhD in Statistics from the University of Memphis.

Tohib Adejumo

Founder and Executive Director 

Tohib Adejumo, a writer and an educator, is an Adjunct Lecturer of Reading at the Middle Tennessee State University. He's a Teach For America alum and an AmeriCorps Fellow. He holds a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. He is the author of Beneath Her Headscarf and three other books and currently a Doctoral Candidate at Middle Tennessee State University's Department of Literacy Studies.

Sodiq Alabi

Director of Grants and External Affairs

Sodiq Alabi, poet and writer, works as a development communications specialist. Born and raised in Iwo, Alabi bagged his first degree at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin. A widely published social commentator and poet, he's the author of The Texture of Air, his debut poetry collection. His career as a communication specialist has seen him work for nonprofits including Paradigm Initiative, where he led the communication department for two years.

With her wealth of experience as a Teach For Nigeria Fellow and her  Waste For Meals Initiative which provides food for children in poverty, Folashade brings invaluable ideas and strong work ethic to ReadForGrowth. She's a joy to work with and learn from.
